Hidden and Dangerous .net Forums

I purchased and played H&D2 back in the olden days, and have recently decided to reinstall her. I am able to run the game on Vista, both with and without changing the compatibility, patched and unpatched. However, when I open the setup the only available screen resolutions are 640 * 480, 800 * 600, and 1024 * 768. The computer I previously used was pants, yet could play H&D2 on higher resolutions. I've been unable to find any information regarding this problem on the Internet.

My laptop:
Vista Ultimate (32 bit)
Intel Core 2 Duo (2.4 GHz)
2 GB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT (512 MB)
DirectX 10

Simple question but have you updated your Nvidia drivers? and did you use the setup.exe to change the res or did you try in-game?

A simple question indeed, with a simpleton answer: no, I hadn't updated my drivers. I forgot to think of that. And so after a quick visit to , the screen resolution is peachy keen.
