but i had the same problem with my old computer, which had a 32Bit AMD XP 3200+ CPU... so it cannot be a CPU-problem... it must be something else...

but i would try if i knew how to switch from 64 to 32...

anything that might help!

i really really like this game and i would love to play SS...

Tell me if you have "Suspend When Inactive" checked or unchecked, and try running it the other way...

well, i tried everything... switching it off and on, tried low details, compressed, disabled EAX, tried multipass rendering... no use...

funny thing is, as i mentioned before, if i run in one direction it's ok but when i change the direction the slowmotion kicks in... very strange.

also worth noting is, when i install the main game without any patch and without ss add-on, the game runs fine...

it's either the 1.12 patch or the add-on that messes the game up for me...

and nobody in the whole wide (hd2-) world is able to help me! :?

i can't believe there is no solution to this problem, it makes me mad...

oh well, guess i am going back to play Call of Duty then... :(

I found them very helpfull, they can try and recreate the problem then fix it...

i didn't call, but i wrote an e-mail to them as well as to illusion softworks... no answer. i was looking for answers in like every HD2 forum on this planet! and i am doing that since i got the ss add-on last year... i really hope i will be able to play this game one day...

i cannot do that. i am living in Switzerland, Take2 is not stationed here. They are in Germany or Austria, but i cannot use those phonenumbers because they are "pay-per-minute"-numbers which cannot be dialed from outside the country. It would be too expensive anyway: 1.85 Euro/Min.

I also cannot use the online-support-form either,

because its telling me the EAN number i provided is incorrect (i tried all 3 EAN numbers, from the doublepack, from HD2 and from HD2SS)!

I do own an original copy of the game and I cannot get support, you see my misery?? :(

I have the same problem. hate slow downs, when I install patch 1.12
or install Hidden & Dangerous 2 Sabre Squadron add on.
