and maybe I'll figure this out tomorrow, but...

How do you get into the central complex from out in the rain in the first mission?

I've gotten in past the two guard gates in the beginning, into where there are a number of small buildings. German soldiers come out of the doors of the buildings when they are alerted, and when they do I can enter the buildings. However, I can't open the doors to the buildings myself (I can't even select them). I can't seem to walk up the 3 steps to get closer the the doors, either. Are these bugs or is it supposed to work like this?

You'll need a key from a dead german

The key should be on a german in one of the guards houses around the complex.

more specific;
in the barracks complex you have to go to the end (opposite of the entrance door) of the barracks complex.
and opposite the large steel (closed) doors towards the Uboat bunkers there is a small door (difficult to see until you are actually in front of it).
Behind it are germans and one has the key for the real entrance next to the first guard that you may have killed before.
