On the first mission i chose to use the recommended selection but later found there wasnt enough dynamite to complete the optional objective..

As i placed the dynamite there first i went back to get it only to find that after diffusing it i was unable to take it...rendering all my efforts in vain..


Bloody annoying but lesson leant...never choose the recommended selection

I guess you mean the first mission in sabre :? Well If you look arround enaugh you will find some places where you get more TNT. I always run good enaugh with the default equipment

Well, optional objectives are things that you discover in the field to be of tactical importance or from the briefing to be not as importaint.

So recommended will allways be just what you "need" to beat the mission.

Point taken...also Lars was correct there was more TnT lying around

That aside i'd rather have a couple of grenades instead of the pistol..

I never have and never will use the recommended selection option. Even in H&D1 I always chose my own gear. Although in H&D1 they didn't even tell you what stuff was NEEDED :?

I only use the auto-setup to 'test' :)
