Dear Friend,
First of all make sure you have the latest patch installed (patch 1.12). Secondly, maybe something is wrong with the saved game. Once I saved in Call of Duty United Offensive and after I saved and loaded I couldn't find the spot on the flak gun so I could blow it up. Then I tried loading a previously saved game before that save and then the game worked OK. It happens with many games, when you save, sometimes the saved game is corrupted. Unfortunately, there is no previous save to load from in H&D2 so I am afraid you will have to restart the mission  . I hope I helped you somehow. Have fun!

Hmmm, while re-reading your post I found a small thing that could be the problem. You say you found the enigma and then you placed the magnetic mine on the small vessel. I think you have to first place the mine on the vessel and then climb on it and find the enigma machine. You will have to restart the mission anyway  . Have fun!
