I've noticed that, during the early stages of this map, it is possible to enter the oasis without using explosives on the main doors.
The entry point is the place where, a little later, one of the Tiger Tanks blasts a hole in the wall - spawnpoint facing wall.
I have tried to do this, but cannot seem to acquire the technique - without cheating - which I have to assume the players I have observed entering in this way are not doing.
Does anybody have any idea how this is done?

You can easy climb inside the complex without cheating. From the frontdoor on the left side where the explosives should be placed - stay in front of the brick and look a bit to the left side and just climb there and you should get over the wall. Its a bit tricky but after you know how to do it its easy.

Thanks Lars ~ I'll keep trying, I was wondering whether I needed to set 'run' or 'stealth' mode or maybe look up/down etc.

Still can't get it ~ but perseverance! Which leads me to ask (one of the reasons why I think it is important) is - do you know if it is possible to prevent the reinforcements from turning up by killing the guy with the flare gun, or one of the other's inside the oasis from calling for them?

Just checked it again .. on the brick side on the north you can enter it. Stand on the first step on the ground and look a bit to the left and climb than. There you should go over it. No idea if it is possible to get the flare gun guy before anyone fired a shoot. As far as I remember he stays hidden in a corner on the ground near the main gate

AHA - I have been shown how to get that climb to work - the knack which I was missing was make sure you face as side on to the wall as possible, 'perpendicular' (?) 90 degree's anyway - looking along the wall - cheers for the help and see you in the map sometime!

Ah you noticed - Yes I have never liked not being able to see ahead - tall weeds and so forth - so I do keep the details option at minimum - Is that what you mean't?
