AI: does it change from mission to mission?

Two examples

Bunker Mission in Birmania:

my m8 Rivet was damn' lethal....he killed lots of japs

Normandie Bank Mission:

my two m8s were incredibily stupid...

incredibly!

I did some experiments about their reaction in front of an enemy

simple: they didn't shoot anyone.

and when I say anyone...I mean "a.n.y.o.n.e."

I managed to push the enemy in front of them (my mates were well covered)

the only thing that happened was:

"enemy spotted"

they didn't shoot

I say "OPEN FIRE!!!!"

they said

"count on me!"

they didn't shoot...


jeez....this is just too weird...

I mean we all know that the AI in HD2 isn't that effective...

but this is damn different...it looks like I've told them "CEASE FIRE!"...

how can a NPC act like this way in front of an enemy??

how can a NPC kill lots of enemies on other missions?

did u spot this issue?

it's just too too strange....too weird for a game that took 4 years to be developped

Well I first played the game on v1.03 and I swear since then the AI has gone from clumsy to having shit for brians I mean honestly :roll:

I am really frustrated over this... The game at the moment is unplayable.

AI doesn't follow, doesn't kill enemies, kills enemies when you tell them to hold fire and wait for your shot. It's really... REALLY frustrating.

Jas...is the SS AI that shitty? (please...don't tell me that.....but be horribly honest :D )

at this point (the AI went worse and worse as the campaigns went on)

I guess HD2 is BEST played with the Lone Wolf Campaign...

it's a single player game

fuck....this is too weird...

just too weird....

HD2 could be a masteripeice...

:roll: I have bad news for you: You are not capable of managing a team...

I never understood why they added the Lone Wolfe mode in the first place since it is a squad-based game, but obviously...
