New to all this...

Unread post by Destiny » Mon Oct 15, 2007 11:13 am

Hi!

It might sound a bit crazy yet since I have had H&D i didnt really had a good connection so my MP didnt really exist.
When I finally got a decent connection my time was taken by other things and could really play H&D.

I know there is a co-op, normal deatmach, but i would be grateful if somebody could explain how is it possible to complete missions over lan with my friends - i guess its coop.

also are there any deathmach servers alive?? how do i play this one??

thanks

hi, first make sure your upto date with the "autopatcher"
to play online click "multiplayer - internet"

id have thought DEATHMATCH mode was the place to start to get hang of things online, just try to kill everyone you meet, simple lol

OCCUPATION mode is human teams (axis and allies) fighting each other, 'capture the flag' game

OBJECTIVES mode is also human teams, but with a mini mission (the objectives), and sometimes against the clock

and if u have the sabre squadron (or courage under fire ) add on you can play COOP mode, this is humans (allies) against computer generated enemy (axis), with objects and also sometimes against the clock

i would go for clan servers to start with, they usually have simple rules and can help u if needed

as for playing over lan, its simple, all plug into the same router , click on "multiplayer - lan", one of u start a server, and the rest click on server list

ps, if you want to setup a server for an internet game, (put your pc in dmz in your router thats my tip) open ports 11001 to 11004 in your router and windows firewalls
