hi guys, im just getting into h and d2 and sabre squadron at the moment, any of u guys really into multiplayer and wana give some genral online advice, im usulay a fps sort of guy but faster ones like sof2 but really like this game, a little bit of advice might help me get into it. im on my house lan at the mo doing the co-op in SS till then.

Never try to fire any light-machine gun while standing up, crouch is the best position. Grenades come in handy for close combat. The MP40, Sten, Garand are all good weapons in the right hands. The Doc with a Bren & a pistol can do a lot of damage as well. Remember there is a climb button so you can climb some places for better sniping.

the best advice i can think off: PRACTICE!! and have FUN!!!
fun part comes in two fronts: first one being if it aint fun then its a chore and no one likes them! the second one being you learn more when you have fun!!

also one for the potato masher/type 36 grenade: try using the alternate fire button if you have the time, the underarm throw is quite handy at bouncing round corners

for online, if you ever play it online :
ignore the retards who take it too seriously and / or dont work as a team. and remember the names of those who treat you with respect, the decent players are always worth remembering: it makes it more FUN!!

like yesterday, when i was playing on africa1 DM, iam running towards this mp40 guy, and i was carryinga non scoped enfield, but guess what, the bagger throws a impact nade at me! ffs!
i hate thoose nades... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ...

'nades should be used to clear out far away spaces or rooms, the amount of times someone has thrown an impact nade at me, then I shoot them dead before it kills me does my head in!

i know exactly what u mean lain, i hate those bloody impact nades, aka noobnades. they are realistic enough and everything but almost used in a kamikaze way, to often a guy (usually snipers) throw nades in the ground killing himself AND me, though somethimes he onlyy kills himself or only kills me

any way, impact nades suck!

hehe, the funniest is when we are on TS, a certain member of our clan can be heard for miles when he gets killed by a contact nade.
