Hello guys. I am new to the boards. I'm really happy I found a place to chill with other HD2 fans, it is really tough to find other fansites and active communities for this unbelievable franchise. Anyway, on to my question. I recently had to reformat my hard drive and obviously lost all of my saved stuff for the game. I found a cheat that makes all the single missions available, but what I am looking for is a save file that will allow me to start the campaign from the first jungle mission, that way I can continue playing
From where I left off. Do any of you know if there is a cheat during campaign mode that can allow me to by pass missions just like the original Hn'D? Also, I don't have Sabre Squadron, but am thinking about buying it. The thing is, from what I've seen in screenshots it mostly takes place in the desert and I prefer urban European WWII settings. Can someone here please let me know if my assumptions are correct, and if the expansion is worth getting?
Thanks for any help I get.
Cheers.

Can't help you with the save file, you'd need someone to have saved the game as they reached the Burma campaign. Don't think anyone would keep a save file there. You'll just need to start the campaign from the beginning I'm afraid. :(
I'd say Sabre Squadron is worth buying, there are only 3 desert missions in it (and one of them is urban). The other 6 are in France and Sicily. Sabre Squadron has co-op as well, which is good if you play online.

Well Beavan, it is not that bad to replay the game, I have done it twice atleast myself.
But Sabre Squadron is worth buying, even though it?s missions are somewhat more into action (most of them) and does not give new weapons so much etc, it does have improved AI and gameplay + co-op mode.

I'm currently trying to beat it in hard - lone wolf, stuck on both H&D2 and SS
The missions I am stuck on are Birds of prey and Ponte Grande - both difficult without extra fire power. Trying to beat all modes in hard, very hard would make me throw my computer out the window
- I'd need at least one save game to keep me from going insane.

I completed 65% of SS on very hard as lone wolf and from original, I completed around 80% of the game on very hard as lone wolf, and I tell you, that was damm annoying.I'm currently trying to beat it in hard - lone wolf, stuck on both H&D2 and SS The missions I am stuck on are Birds of prey and Ponte Grande - both difficult without extra fire power. Birds of Prey.... it is not that hard to be honest, you just need to switch your positions pretty often
