:D I got Sabre Squadron today, any one else get it recently?

It's definitely much better than H&D2, it has a much better feel to it, a much better atmosphere. It plays and feels more like H&D1. I'd say FFF & H&D2 mixed into one which creates a great game

The Axis use their granades more, and they can be vicious with them.

they can shoot you while pointing their guns at the ceiling. and the tank turrets are impossibly fast and accurate, any one recognise this from a problem before??

still nothing a patch or three wont fix

this problem has been on hd2 through all the patches and appearantly on ss as well... but if the turret would go "tuff tuff tuff tuff. tick tick tick," in real slo mo, it would look coller yes, more realistic, yes, but that would make the game real easy. and just think of it like this, they oiled theyre turrets reall good

LMAO

Yeah I guess it would be too easy, although it already is easy to get behind a tank. If the enemy in the turret position can not see you then they are easy to destory even if other enemies in the tank can see you. I think they should make it that if one can see you then they all can.

But no idea how they'd do it considering

i know i know... its a little late for mentioning it but.... and iam sure every1 knows this .... anywho. when usee a enemy tank, (wait for u men to say enemyspotted) then u see the map ( default M) and u can see the red field of view to the tankers.... just like commandos.. this gives u theyre direction of view so u easier can sneak behind it with ur PIAT rifle...

oh wait... we dont have the standard british AT rifle... instead we have that big clumsy bazooka at twice the size!

hehe nothing to do with the post at all....

i think its too easy destroying the tanks, theyre not the huge, impossible to kill and feared weapon that they was in real life. I say give them a coax. machinegun mounted on top of the turret and we can play catch.
as it is now its just aproach them from behind and put a stickie bomb on their ass, to bloody easy.

Yeah it should be harder to destroy then and when your in a tank the enemy should be smart enough to destroy you

sometimes im glad we dont have it, at least you get some range with bazooka. the PIAT was spring loaded, making it an arse to reload and giving it the range of only a few feet.

at that range you might as well run up to the tank and attach a sticky bomb!!

which is what i do most of the time anyway!! its always good to give at xmas!! :D

hehe... yeah but i feel that i gotta pretty much close up behind a tank to fire a bazooka on it... well.. offcourse u can stand on front of it firing like 30753561 shells before it finally goes *pof* ... so getting up close and personall with the tank... u have to do that alway anyway.. unless u get a direct back of turret hit ....
