8) I just wanted to update everyone that VTM is more alive and well than ever before! With help and feedback from Lars, Celt, Hippoclan and numerous others, we have turned this game into something really special. I'm working with a small team of major VTM supporters and we are working out the details regarding the future of VTM. The success of VTM depends on you... VTM is already starting to gain attention in Germany and various parts of Europe, with the help of Hippoche' and the Hippoclan community.
*VTM in a Nutshell*
In VTM, two teams of 8, go head to head in a battle for the VIP. One team want to eliminate him, while the other team is trying to keep him alive. Communication is a must in this game! It is crucial that your team works together via Teamspeak, as more than half of the maps are BLIND!!!! (No map markers at all, including the VIP's). Playing BLIND is a whole new experience, and will push your team to strategize or be wiped out by the opposing force. Each team is allowed only one heavy weapon and one sniper rifle per team per round. They are also allowed one airstrike radio per team (when available). Make sure you have the right members of you team using the appropriate equipment. Weapons and equipment are limited to make things more balanced. Grass must be turned on at all times. The VIP is NOT allowed in the water. Vehicles can be used to help shield the VIP, but they must not be used to totally block all entrances or make it impossible for the opposing team to reach the VIP. Doing so will make your team forfeit the round. THE VIP MUST BE KILLABLE AT ALL TIMES!!!!
There are no contact nades or respawning in VTM, so you'll need to rely on your communication, teamwork and skills to survive and accomplish your team's objectives. This add a little more value to your player's life. With up to 10min. rounds, you can't afford to play carelessly.
~WCK~ has gone all out in bringing the H&D2 community something that it so desperately needs. More multiplayer maps!!! As of this Friday, we will reveal VTM's 30th map (and it's a special one). Yes, you heard me right.. There are 30 different VTM modded H&D2 maps for this new style of gameplay and none of them are the same map. You'll have to see it to believe it!! As I've said before, this is my contribution to the greatest WWII video game ever made and with VTM, I believe you will begin to enjoy H&D2 all over again!!!!
Attention H&D2 community! We need your support. Please spread the word. The final preparations are being made for its release. All those interested, can register on our forum at: http://wckusa.com/phpBB/profile.php?mod ... ea5343b504
Note: Please register with your H&D2 screen name, email and your location (where you live).
Also, please email me at glue@wckusa.com, if you are part of a clan or have a clan or team that wants to sign-up for VTM. We need the name of your clan (or team) and it's members. Please let us know if you're looking for members as well. Remember, we are forming teams of 8 players.
We may require more information later, as we'll need to set up different sessions for players in different timezones.
