...Although, cold snow is light and fluffy. Warm, wet snow is heavier and more packed down.

Lol, yeah definitely due to the technical / development time constraints. But that would take it to a whole new level, maybe too far? maybe not.jacobston wrote:I liked Snowball, but there were some confusing bits. Particularly the snow. For instance, in the mission iceberg, we can tell that the snow is at least knee high. From my experience in knee high snow, I was wondering why I was able to walk on top of the snow, without sinking in at all, especially while carrying 25 kg of supplies. I understand that this is likely due to system limitations a decade ago, but I can imagine the potential of this with today's systems: things like skis or snowshoes as inventory objects to make movement easier.
It would depend how it is used. It should be used like the aqua lung, where it is not necessary for traveling in snow, but it would make it a lot easier.Jason wrote:But that would take it to a whole new level, maybe too far? maybe not.
I often end up accidentally killing them. The only times I actually did succeed in shooting their weapons out of their hands, it was a fluke.-ViTaMiHnM203- wrote:The only reliable way to do it, is to shoot their weapon out of their hands.
Ah yes, make the advanced mechanics incentive based then, cant be too punishing though, otherwise you get whiners and multiple playthroughs can be a grind when things are overly involved.jacobston wrote:It would depend how it is used.
