Useful tricks

Some tricks i have used, mostly in coop missions.

*
A quick way to toss a grenade into room with closed door is to press and hold grenade button and while doing that selecting open door.
Its much quicker than opening door first and then waiting to throw grenade.

*
Ladder can be blocked with infantry mine to avoid enemy climbing up (enemy will get stuck at the end of the ladder).
I have used it in mission "marketplace"
This can be done even if player moves very close to the ladder.

*
Its possible to heal(use medkit) and reload weapon at the same time.
when doing 2 things at the same time, it saves time.

*
Its good to go to prone position before firing at enemy, because this way Player makes him/her as small as possible and makes harder for enemy to acquire target.
When playing with team, then its good choice to go to prone position when other team member shoots, because he/she might see enemy and player ahead of him/her might be in the line of fire, when in prone position, player behind can shoot over you.

*
After hearing shot, enemy will come to this location where this shot was taken, Player can use this to ambush enemy or just avoid getting killed by leaving last position and going back to safe position.

And online servers live too! (I visit them frequently).
Even some new modders are interested in coop map modding.
(I have to leave Africa6 project, it would take too much time to make any good mission there...maybe someone else is willing, it has low graphics too, its another bad side of it.)

Are people still playing capture the flag mode?

I liked that mode the best. Lost many hours fighting over 1 small piece of territory.

Does anyone know the names/email adresses of some of the former people who worked on the game (I am not on fb) we should try and encourage to make a 3rd through a kick starter programme.

Do some of the old players still get on? I remember:

Ro(Spa), OldMan(CZ) they used to be on all the time when i was on.

I will return to the game in the next year or so, I dont even have a PC at the moment

One more trick:
As you might know, some tanks have been modded to have slower cannon turret rotation speed, turning slow turret with mouse takes effort, easy way is to start turning with mouse and while doing that, open your inventory menu, this will make turning action automatic, it lasts until the menu is closed.

One fun trick:
While re-loading a weapon, open your inventory menu and place the weapon on the back, then youll see some funny walking.

Another funny trick (its for SinglePlayer):
If you enter to vehicle that has killed enemy inside it, select a usable seat and then select "Take", then the enemy body will remain attached to your hand.

In coop or dm, if you wait for re-spawn and your weapon is on the ground, near you, try to move the view so this white box appears around the weapon, then start to hit enter, until you spawn, this way its possible to re-spawn with this weapon from the ground.
Or if you're near vehicle, its possible to spawn straight to the vehicle.
