everytime i sneek up on a enemy soldier to do a silent kill, they turn around at the last minute n shoot me! even with high stealth stats. i didn't have this problem in H&D2
Is anyone else having this problem?

yeah i noticed it as well,
and as a mather of fact is think they shoudl have made it easier to knife people...
but oh well ...

I think they should have made it easier to sneak up on patrolling guards. It's easy to knife a enemy that is standing still but when they are on patrol it is hard :(

Game is missing short animation when you get close and behind enemy and slit his throat, at that moment you would be 100% convinced that he's dead. On the other hand in MP i have no problems unless someone is in prone or running :)

IS should add knife throwing ability, that would cure me up

Yepp, that would add a lot to the name of the game. Imagine sneaking up at a guard and taking him out with a true cast in the throat over three paces :) .

you can throw a knife... if you pretend its you playing in the intro to czhech 3 (thihi)

they should really release the codes and everything to H&D" then you could make the nife like a grenade , you could equipe it and use the frow grenade button to toss your knife at em

I tested the knife for skinning and killing and it seemed alright to me
....mmm ill tell you German scientists are tuff expecially when grilled

yeah well actully i think knife holes and bullet are the same because after i sho...... hmm knifed them and carried them all round the explosive barrals i put knife holes in them just to make sure
heheh ill tell you running round swinging a knife is fun but droping a granade in the middle of the corpes next to explosive barrels is even more fun it made a nice wee picknick area in the middle :)

Knife an enemy soldier that he wont die in some places (such as arm) and it leaves a bullet mark instead of a stab or cutting wound, go check it yourself.

Sometimes I have encoutered the same issue that just when I am going to kill, he turns suddenly, but not so often. Remember if your soldier has low stealth ability this often occures.

EDIT: Today I encoutered in the Op.Snowball - Scout that I was in disguise, and I did knife a guard to neck, well it hitted to helmet and I quickly knifed again, and it leaved a bullet mark to head even it was a cutting wound.

you people are idiots sometimes. you would NEVER slit a mans throat in real lif eif you were trying to be stealthy. all of the air in his lungs would RUSH out of the little hole you just made & would make a noise so loud you could hear it half a mile away.
