Is there some way to enable Saves on Very Difficult? Like editing a file in the game or downloading somekind of program that enables saves?

not that i have heard of, but why not just download the entire save? :S

download the entire save? You mean find a savegame where someone has completed the game on Very Hard? If so, that would defeat the purpose of having a challenge, but no saves on very hard is nearly impossible for me.

in the downlaods sections you can find it, and you could just continiue off were you let off.

He means is there any way to make it so you can save during the game.

I don't think you get any saves on very hard. Must be fun when you get near the end of a mission and it crashes. That's why I only play in Medium or Hard.

yes I'm in the same boat as the topic poster. There must be someway to edit a file in order to enable save games on very hard. For some reason I just don't get any satisfaction out of beating a game on anything but the hardest setting. Unfortunately with this game, some levels are just way too long to beat without a save. So anyone out there a progammer or something who would now how to enable stuff like this?

Well apparently one mission is impossible on very hard cos you have to get someone to surrender and then take their clothing and surrendering is dissabled on very hard apparently. So I think someone made a tool to allow you to swithch difficulty for a mission and then go back to playing the rest of the game on very hard, but I am not sure?

well not exactly that, but I guess i could use that. I was looking for a program that would let me actually save on very difficult, or perhaps enable me to have more saves on lower difficulty settings.

I aint following this fellah. The whole idea of very hard is it is difficult, which includes not being able to save the game every time you reach a hard part where you're likely to get killed. You hone your tactics in the easier levels so that you know roughly what to expect and very hard is where it all comes together. If you've learnt your shit on the easier levels you shouldn't have to worry about saving games.

Ah but the extra challenge for me is that I haven't palyed the game before, I believe in starting on the hardest difficulty as otherwise you know what to expect so it takes away the suprise and hardness out of it cos you know what is coming up if you already played the mission on easy or something.

lol EXACTLY what I was about to say. By playing the easier levels so that you KNOW whats coming up, is in some was just as bad as having more saves. I am sure someone here knows how to edit a line in the program so that you can have more saves. I've tried looking myself but I don't seem to find anything in the folder that mentions something about saves. Darn
