lol, I meant that 2k Czech won't make games like MOH/COD. They prefer the tactical/strategy style even though real SAS missions would be more like COD with the fast pasted action. Although they still are totally different types of action.
On another note. The way the "player" is handled in H&D2 feels too chunky and weighted down. Even H&D1 was but not nearly as much, in other games the player tend to feel much lighter. Get what I mean?
Anyone playing H&D2 online?

I guess it is their way to perhaps force the slower strategy/tactical parts of the game, maybe? It can be a pain in multiplayer though

Have you ever worn 1937 Pattern webbing, man it is like that, why do you think they made the latter 1957 Pattern webbing out of stretch nylon?
When you try to lie, flat, prone on the ground with '37 webbing the two ammo pouches get in the way, and ofcourse you can't really shoot when that happens, otherwise you risk getting a gun butt in the face, which trust me, when it's the old M1928 Tommy, sucks like hell.
The old British stuff was clungy, but the old M1917 and M1941 pattern American stuff was pretty good, so I quess they made the delay apply to all the uniforms to cut production time.
(Ehm, yes I was my own renactor, and tried effortlessly to make an Commando, Ranger and SS reinactor group on Bribie Island before giving up for computer games, I have an REAL SAS badge arround here somewhere and REAL Commando and Royal Marine patches, both are from the 1990s as the 1940s ones are REALLY hard to get, but I have enough webbing to equip out arround 4 men.)

Watch my personal text, it reveals how many days or how many kilobytes of code may pass before I'm seen on the forum and what I'm doing on those days; It's being as Zoolander would say "InFourMaTave in a small small way".

Re: Anyone playing H&D2 online?
Been a while since I dropped by the forums here. I pull out my copy of HD2 and play online every now and then. I'll have to re-install it again soon, getting that urge to play it once more. It's still one of my favourite WW2 games of any genre :)
IMO, the only remotely close competition comes from mods of other games I've played: Forgotten Hope for BF1942 and Blitzkrieg II for CC Generals

Forgotten Hope is good, too bad FH2 lags like hell on my PC, but yeah, nothing beats the H&D equipment selection section, I mean Bf's equipment selection isn't as detailed, but it is true that for awhile during the war the general British soldier had a chooice between the Enfield Mk.4 or an, if he could control one, Bren gun, as tommy guns where rare, until 1943, and were usually reserved for officers or substitutes for support weapons if they were available.
(The old, 'The one who can split the picket holding the Bren at waist level on full-auto can have the first Tommy Gun', came into play often too.)
