There is a book out, I forgot the title
but it is about the SAS and how they started. It has been put together from recordings the originals made in some secret bunker. I'll go back to the book shop and look up the title!
I was thinking of getting two copies, one for me and one for a competition prize... not sure how many peeps would be into that though.
AND YAY FINALLY 1000+ :D

Most of that stuff has become declassified...
Eight, 8, the burning eight; between Sunday and Monday exists a day so great, it will devastate.

Yep, I believe in the UK stuff gets declassified after 50 years. Though I'm sure there's some exceptions... 8)

I believe the recorded history of the SAS, 1st failed operation, Nov 1941.
But I do acknowledge the existance of other British special operations forces.
Commandos as I have said before, I believe we are reinacting.

According to the post-war trial, some of the darkest secrets of the second world war wasnt to be released before 100 years later, in that way they could be sure that everyone participating in the war wouldnt feel dishonoured or anything by whatever it was that is goin to be released....
