Basical things for multiplayer joining.

This is for general discussion about Hidden & Dangerous 2, talk about what you liked or what you didn't like about the sequel. Talk about multiplayer games, setup matches etc.

Basical things for multiplayer joining.

Unread post by LT. Drake Hawkins » Wed Jul 14, 2010 12:13 am

Hello everyone, I want to ask you about joining games on Hidden & Dangerous 2, just a few basics for joining:
-How to join a game.
-Game version needed for joining most servers of the game.
-(Optional) Servers recomended. (Specially coop or good player teamwork)

And well just a comment I have TS 3 and a working microphone so if you people use TS 3 or 2 for gaming would be glad to advice.

Where are you from that they say basical?

Pretty much self explanatory on joining a game, unless this is your first multiplayer game.

I think there are going to be 1 or 2 servers running an old version of the game, and I think one server still running the demo sometimes. Other than that everything is running 1.12, the most recent version.

None, you will not find any. (Exaggeration; hardly any.)

Where in SA? Did you buy the game there? Basical isn't a word by the way, just basic...

Argentina, South America, why so much asking about where do I come from and if I bought the game here? Is this a Gestapo interrogation? lol
And thanks for the grammar correction.

Not many people from South America pass this way  or America for that fact. Germany is on top of the visitor list to be honest, although that's probably Lars messing with my stats :P

lol who knows... anyway I updated the game and looks like everything works fine, tried a small MP playing on the GS squadron server, lot of people, not too much lag, pretty good. Hope to get my SS copy soon.

I'm curious because I thought the only way to get this game in most south American countries was an illegal copy off of the street. How are you planning on getting SS?

Dude, what are you getting at? Are you being rude on purpose? Who cares where someone got the game?

No, I'm just being inquisitive... I've never been to Argentina, maybe it is just rude to ask questions in Argentinian culture? Is that something that Juan Peron started? Or is that just an Australian thing? He seemed to be being friendly about it...

I'm wondering if you are getting them on eBay, or if you know a store that actually still sells them... and will actually ship to Argentina. A quick search on google shows a seller on eBay that doesn't appear to ship outside the US, but that is just the jewel case and another for 60 US dollars. Amazon.com still has a bunch of sellers, but only about a quarter of those are reasonably priced; I don't know if they are shipping outside the US though. Still high above the original price as well.

You know, if you couldn't find a copy, there are plenty of us on the forum that would try and help you locate one. That's all... but maybe Jason is not ok with that. frown01

No comment about what? Your acquisition?

It is a joke, if you can't figure it out... well then try harder...

It sounded like you were saying I got a pirated copy of the game blaming me for it...  :-?
Oh well, forget about it, thanks all for the answers.
