Getting rid of the aqua lung in the training mission

Unread post by Major Johnson » Sun Sep 27, 2009 3:33 pm

Hello,
Newbie here.  Been looking for some new WW2 FPS's and saw HnD2 suggested multiple times, so I bought it.  I'm working my way through the training mission and I hope it doesn't matter if I go out of order with the individual trainings.  But right now I'm on the diving mission.  I was able to cut through the wire, get in the barracks, find the aqua lung, put it on and retrieve the dog tags in the pool.  I got out of the pool and went back to the room where I found the aqua lung, but I don't see any option in taking it off as instructed.  Did I miss something??  Thanks!

Hi and welcome to the forums. Glad to hear you followed the suggestions it is a great game. And yeah they didn't really make it that obvious as to how you must drop items from the inventory. If you ever find that you can not pick something up, like a weapon, it maybe because you have exceeded the maximum weight you can carry therefore you must drop a few things. The first game H&D1 (try H&D Deluxe too, its great!) made it a bit more obvious as to when you reached the max limit (soldier made a grunting noise as if it was too heavy).

Good luck, enjoy they game - you'll have to try the expansion as well once you have finished thup01
