Save games on very difficult

But the surprise and hardness as you put it is obviously too surprising and hard which is why you're needing to save the game. Each to their own, but in my opinion the whole point of very hard is to challenge you with the higher health depreciation when you're hit after you begin to find the other levels too easy. Don't follow what you're saying about the surprise element. The surprise is the same no matter what level you play on for the first time, its just that you have a more realistic chance of dealing with it on medium or hard. I can see how you like the challenge of playing very hard from the off, but you're obviously getting killed all the time so what's the point?

actually no, I can manage quite fine through most levels, its just those rare points in the game where you get nailed and you have no idea where its coming from and I just don't have the means to play a level thats I've come so far in, only to be shot again and still have no idea where its coming from. Sure if I play on an easier level, the AI wouldn't be such a crackshot and I could then actually pinpoint the target, but then with that, the element of surprise is now gone.
