driving tanks in Hidden & Dangerous sabre squadron?

Hello all,

does anybody know in which mission and/or campaign of Hidden & Dangerous sabre squadron I can drive and use a sherman tank like it is described in the game features?

Sherman --Sabre-- As far as I remember there was only 1 (in words ONE) Multiplayermap where you could use them Ardennen 1 objective
Edit: Oh yeah forgot one other mp map Normandy 3 Occupation. So some mp maps have them in but you won?t see them in an sp map :(

Christ, there are enough tanks in the game as it is. I wouldn't be complaing but nearly all of them are German.

i just thought of... what if they made a tank mission... like.. in call of duty, only that our SAS "mates" has to help some wounded tankers, and take command over theyre tank... maybe a little call of duty or bf42 but still... id be happy if they just used it on ardennes... they got the tanks made allready anyway..

Nah, it's not in the H&D spirit, and it'd stretch the bounds of believability. And in any case, I don't think H&D tank combat is that great.

A nice mission would be ambushing a German Armoured column... 8)

in conflict desert storm there is a mission with a tank, but u have 2 use it wisely. i played it with my mate and most of tanks we destroyed on the mission was by using c4, creaping round and being stealthy like h&d2. but the tank was great taking out enemy soldiers and fun 2 drive.

maby they should do a better version of that.

There's only one mission you get to drive a tank for any length of time - Mission 5 of the Africa campaign. Grab a Tiger and it suddenly becomes a piss easy mission.

But tanks in H&D SP are generally there to make it harder for you.
