Re: Introduction and new DTA unpacker
It's worth a shot, we'd need our community members that have worked on the issue to point them in the right direction though
Re: Introduction and new DTA unpacker
Hello,
I've been busy .
As you know the original link no longer works. I moved my files over to a different server. I re-uploaded the unpacker here. The original post has been updated with the new link.
It's more or less the official link now if anyone wants to download it. I will put other related projects up on that address as well. More on this later.
I had contemplated writing an unpacker that would work without a DLL, and in it support SS as well. Unfortunately it is a lot of work and I would have to make a big time slot to get it finished . Still, not all is lost. I like a good challenge.

Three years and nobody has stepped forward to write an SS unpacker?Capt. Stirling wrote: I think its high time we get mercenary and put down some cash for someone to program the SS unpacker
I'll put my money where my mouth is btw

Do it! I can pretend my life depends on it, if that is good enough motivation.

The life of the community depends on it! I'll gladly donate some cash but as a freelance Web Developer cash is some what of an issue right now but that might change over the next month, hopefully!
Thanks Jovan for putting the files on github

I would also be willing to donate to see it through.

Hello Guys!
I have some good news: Now, we got the SDK of the Zmodeler and the 4ds (!) plugin (Thanks for the author of Zmodeler!), but very need somebody who can work with the codes in "Visual Studio 6" and make the necessary changings in the codes to imoprt/export the 4ds files to HD2.
You'll see the details about it soon.
Jovan, if you read it please reply to my e-mail address.
Thanks!
