Yeah,

Compiling shouldn't be a problem depending on what compiler or IDE you use, but it can become complicated when you try to make an segmented executable (.lib, .a, .o and .obj linking), or set the errorlevel as to avoid the compiler complaining about things that you know will go down OK with the RAM and CPU but the compiler sees it as an datatype vialation. Then it can become an bag of beans, not to mention cross-compiling, hehehehe.

And I'm the same, I don't care much for the graphics, as long as the gameplay is good, as I may have said above, the simmilar features (such as selectalbe inventory and characters) between WWII: DR and H&D originally attracted me to H&D, as I always though WWII: DR could have been so much better, little did I know until 2-3 years ago that was called Hidden and Dangerous.
Watch my personal text, it reveals how many days or how many kilobytes of code may pass before I'm seen on the forum and what I'm doing on those days; It's being as Zoolander would say "InFourMaTave in a small small way".

Isn't it beautiful

It's an official demo of H&D from Talonsoft... I didn't know these were available. It's part of the collection now

Jason, you still in Oz?  I went to college in QLD.

I originally picked up "H&D and Fight for Freedom" at Harvey Norman.  Came in that Purple Take 2 box along with Dogs of War.

Anyway, nice collection ... err ... obsession you have.  The only thing I've added is the H&D2 Strategy Guide.

  Cheers ...

Yeah I'm still in Australia

That's the same copy I have, think I got it at EB in Adelaide  don't have dogs of war any more though...

I've come across two more unique copies, well one's a dodgy looking version of H&D and the second is the pre-order box of H&D2. I haven't seen a copy of H&D for sale in the shops in a while, think H&D Deluxe being free put an end to that.

Farthest west I made it was Melbourne though I heard Adelaide is nice.

Your photo shows a jewel case on the Purple box.  Did your CDs come in jewel cases?  The reason I ask is mine were only in paper sleeves.  Don't tell me SA got one over QLD.

Anyway, PM me if you are interested in my Dogs of War CD to make your set complete again.

I never installed it since the gameplay trailers never interested me.

Yeah mine came in paper sleeves as well, I put it in that CD case. Probably shouldn't have taken a photo of that!

And yeah Dogs of War wasn't a very good game from what I played of it, bit odd too, from memory.

Aha!! False advertising.  Making people think it came in a jewel case.

Game trailers are supposed to be the hook but the Dogs of War trailer turned me off.  Some futuristic troopers running away from what looked liked over-sized lizards.  I admit I didn't give it a chance but it just didn't grab me.
