hi guys

It was around this time last year that they released details of DD2:SS so i think its safe to assume they wont be releasing HD3 this year!, possilby cos they are all putting the hours into that enemy in sight game. :-(

i cant seem to find any comments at the game ever being mentioned by anybody at illiusion, anybody else hear anything from them???

And if they are making it, god forbid we have to put up with a 5 year wait between HD and HD2!

Ofcourse there is no chance of H&D3 this year. It takes at least 2 years to make a quality game dude. Maybe late 2006 we'll hear something and maybe we'll get something in 2007. Who knows but you'll hear the news here

Maybe a second HD2 expansion, now thats what is really needed...

That idea is cool, if they did do that I reckon something like Fight For Freedom. Have a few German missions. Kill a few Itialians... err sorry make a few hundred thousand Italians surrender in Africa. Then mop up the pockets of resistance or 'terrorists'. H&D2 SS had some good missions based upon fact but lets have some more hostage situations. Free the yanks from POW camps or something. Help the Aussies at Tobruk.

A few pre 45 Ardennes, and even anuther mission like that 1 in HD. Where you start on the mountain and have to walk along the ledge untill you reach like a giant guard tower and then it pans out into the valley and there are buildings.

Actually, that WHOLE campain was my favorite in any game ever made. I loved blowing up that plant rite before it, I want this mission recreated! This would be so great!

You like that mission hey? it is alright but the defences need to be greater. I think if you added an alarm so troops come running out and stuff... would be better, it needs more ACTION. The pace is too long in that mission.

I love the pace, it was perfect. I want that in HD2.

Well it is all about what is realistic. H&D2 is more realistic than H&D1. In H&D1 you could kill guards and the others wouldn't care at all really. In H&D2 they do more to seek out who or what shot other guards. In H&D2 you can be stealthy, much more than H&D1. You can also have frantic battles with enemies in H&D2, in H&D1 you couldn't you really have much 'action' without it being scripted.

I really have no idea why you bring that up.

I like the mission for the mission, not the guards and firefights.
