Hey all, just wondering if:
a) anyone still plays H&D2? was gonna install today but left the discs at work
b) what's happening with the gamespy shutdown? does everyone here use 3rd party browsers already so no probs? or are you going crazy like the battlefield guys?

Of course I still play H&D2, I even still mod it... when I find the time.
I don't play games online very often, so I never really paid attention to the game-spy shutdown. (plus I never played H&D2 until after gamespy stopped supporting it, so I didn't even notice for a long time
)
But there are 'third party' ways to pay H&D2 online. AFAIK the only one now is at http://www.rprclan.com which is currently undergoing a "server revolution" as I call it.

Ahh cool thanks for the tip. So no change here then. Finally found my old H&D2 + SS discs, so will get in a multiplayer game asap :) Does Fugue ever show up here these days?

Can't wait to see you out there. 
You will need the HD2 Connector if you don't already have it installed, and the Coop Map Pack to play on most RPR servers. Oh, and I believe the maps for the SMods servers are here.
As for creating an account, sorry, but I really don't know.
I thought it was in the blue box to the top right, but I don't know, it has been a while since I joined... I don't believe you need to have an account to join a server though, so I will see if I can figure it out.

However you don't need to register to play with us. But we have passworded most servers lately due some misbehaving players..
Therefore it'd be nice if you register (or give us another way to contact you) and we might give you the password.
Sorry for the trouble but some people never learn..
I'll check about the registration problem asap.
