Any one in the defence force or has been or maybe wants to be?

I've really been thinking of joining as of late. I think it would be really something new and exciting. Although I am no hero, call me Fox-hole Norman

Wow that's so cool :D

I'd love to be able to play a game from the view of a medic.

What sort of things do you get up to?

so u wanna fight as a medic... hmm should have met u a little earlier, iam sorry but the medics are down but u can still look at the old rattle trap site... (i know its junk but i only needed somwere to send all who wanted to join)

history of the medics, at the first we were (CM) combat medic, then were got in SAS as the SAS 1.st medical division (SAS M), the SAS M's was fearcfull soldiers feared on the battlefield once... now we have just been forgotten... then when SAS quit, we went to (TM) and on that time we lost our reputation therefore our skills...
so iam hoping for ?NR? to regain the same pride we once had in SAS M

Basing on my friends' opinions, the army is a cool place if you like humililation, and getting pooped on... But, its also a cool place to meet new guys and do some real funny jokes on the other soldiers, usually with the higher rank.

Also, they teach you some cool stuff about weaponry and modern tactics.

The rule that shocked me the most was that you always have to keep your mouth open when shooting ak-74 :D

Yes, the sound waves produced by the recoild could damage your ear drums, so you have to keep your mouth open, inside your ear there is a special canal that is connected to the mouth, and is used to disable any differences between the pressure in the ear, and the pressure outside it. Its a strange thing but opening your mouth can save your hearing ;)

i'm either gonna go to a uni when i'm old enough to take war studies, or go to sawford military academy to train as an officer. If i take war studies it is possible to go into MI-5 or the army.
