You never heard of Rockabilly before? Tis raw Rock'n'Roll, heavy Country, early Elvis, even some Buddy Holly, Carl Perkins & too many more to name. Rockabilly is mainly Rock'n'Roll with a strong guitar back & lead.
Still play to myself occasionally but mostly finger picking*, if you play guitar, you will always play guitar, it becomes a part of your life, reckon it would be the same for most instruments.
*The reason i learnt finger picking was because my kids were always losing my plecks, they never kept the playing up though, shame!
This is one of my favs, was done in a cheap community studio about 20 year ago, same singer, we been very good friends for a long long time.

Hey Grimples
Simply the best music ever. Takes me back a quarter of a century, with weekenders at Caistor and Great Yarmouth plus all the all dayers at Birmingham and Manchester also a 24 hour do at an old WW2 aerodrome in Belgium with Ray Campi topping the bill.
Ah take me back now.
Regards Hepcat
