Ah, ok. Would have been suicide though, look at Dieppe. I can't understand why people call D-Day the second front, what was Italy? A tea party?

The Russians are a fearsome lot make no mistake.

There was a lot of blood in China too.

If Japan hadn't been at war with China, Russia's second front would not have been free enough to concentrate on Eastern Europe.

It's all a very convuluted picture.
