Hidden and Dangerous keeps crashing

I've completed H&D Deluxe, but I want to experience the game the "Original" way.
But here comes a problem, the game crashes in like 5, 10, somethimes 15, 20 mins of playing (even in the menu).
I have tried compatibility modes, disabled Tripple Buffering but nothing seems to help.
I'm on Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit, the game is a clean install from a cd disk.
Installed the newest patch, completed one mission but the crashes just ruin the experience for me.

EDIT: To be clear the game completely freezes and I have to ALT+CTRL+DELETE to get to the Task Manager and the game is "Not responding" and I have to end the process.

Which patches did you install exactly?

Have you tried 1.3 from here: http://www.hidden-and-dangerous.net/hd/ ... hp#patches

in my case it helped to play with command line -safe mode

yes I installed the 1.3 patch from this site

i'll try the -safe command and will post the results later
