Black screen after mission briefing, brown screen after mission completion

I've just setup a Win98 machine in the hopes to play some classic games. H&D being H&D it has to be a pain in the arse before the fun begins I'm getting a black screen after mission briefing, brown screen after mission completion (used save game to load another mission). I'm running H&D 1.3 on Win98 SE with a TNT2. It use to work fine from memory Can anyone remember why these bugs happened?

Will hopefully be installing an old os soon for the same thing, so will let you know. Other than that, no idea sorry. Can't really remember those distant days so well as i've had xp for so long :$

Gave up and put in a Geforce 4 , so it's "fixed" but I am sure it was just a driver issue. Finding the right driver for H&D can be a pain!

A lot of things for h&d can be a pain it seems hahahha.
