Since when you get him you´l notice that the forest is crawling with Germans around and some are quite near the house already.

Well that firefight part may be annoying but you just need to use the house to your own advatange and that´s it 

One possibility could be that the game is bugging quite much again.

I recommend keeping your men (which are inside the complex) somewhere nearby the main gate or something to prevent this.

One thing is for sure: You could make M1 from M14 if you just know what to do and you are expert of metal and electronical works, and if you can make "custom magazines." I think that would be quite hard but just remove M14 magazine and possibly shorten the barrel abit and you have M1 by visual outlo...

Shame, that BAR looked tasty. I'm surprised the M1 isn't airsoft, there seems to be lots of them about

If I am not 100% wrong I believe M1 is done as airsoft weapon too, but it is far from popular.

PS: Well to be honest I figured out this myself by accident. Just click the name above his biography and you can change their names 

When you select your soldier for the campaign, click his name.

Now you have chance to rename the soldier if you wish. I am not sure but just erase it as blank and press enter.

If not, just use some key like "-" or "_" and do that for all guys.

I am not 100% sure does it work but I think it should.

About removing all info stuff, well I am not sure. You might want to try out making the names blank.

Well only possible trick I know how to remove names of your own teammates appearing would be to give no names for every character of your team. You can do this by pressing their name in "select men for mission"- screen. You could rename them by doing this but just leave it blank. I am not sure does ...

Columbian and Dutch campaigns pretty much required you to go Rambo.

True, but I counted it as minor setback considering otherwise very special theme for a game.

Have you tried some other drivers for your display driver? I believe it is more driver related in this case.
