Is there a pop-up that will let us know we are about to be logged out? And if so, how do I activate it?

Re: Italian Weapons Mod/Accuracy Mod
Well SS was haphazardly produced... Starting with the Libya operation all the "soldiers" are wearing Luftwaffe uniforms, they didn't bother making new ones. Well, thankfully they did do something. This early screenshot for "Op. Nomad-Airshow" has the dead German in almost all green. 1185224531-resi...

Re: Italian Weapons Mod/Accuracy Mod
I think the issue was balance and ease of play I definitely see your point as to balance. I wonder if we would have seen more Japanese weapons if the Burma campaign was expanded. Still, it is interesting the developers didn't give the Italians their Carcanos, etc. Either from the beginning or when ...

Re: Error-1610
First off, aloha. I instaled H&D 2 with patch 1.12 after instalation game not working fine so i uninstaled game. I will assume H&D2 only ... not with SS expansion. :?: How was it "not working fine?" Was it working before the patch? Error-1610 The Configuration data for this product is corrupt.Contac...

Re: Italian Weapons Mod/Accuracy Mod
No worries Vit. I wasn't finished with my post. I sometimes hit the "Submit" instead of "Save Draft" button and realize it when I come back a little later. Either way, I've still enjoyed this thread. While you may have a lousy bedside manner  I do find some of your historical info most i...

Re: Italian Weapons Mod/Accuracy Mod
Oh yeah, I forgot. The Burma mission takes place in 1943. I forgot to transition between the two dates. The Spaghetti Airport mission takes place in 1942, right? Correct, 17 Nov 1942. Operation Nomad takes place 17-18 Nov. It was a shame that the developers didn't put time into providing the ...

Re: Movie: Return from the River Kwai
The Next Mission is really bad, the script for Lee Marvin is like almost exactly the same during the first half of the film. I have seen some of the others but not all, forgot which ones I saw back in early 2000. I am yet to see the The Wild Geese, but the cast is a good one. I know I saw "The Next...

Re: Movie: Return from the River Kwai
Oh, I forgot "The Sea Wolves" is another of his movies. It's based on Operation Boarding Party. It stars Gregory Peck and David Niven (remember them from Navaronne?), Roger Moore, and Jack Watson (Cpl Peacock in The Devil's Brigade) among others. "Organized by the Special Operations Executive (SOE),...

Re: Movie: Return from the River Kwai
No, not yet. I'll probably wait a while before I can track a good quality version down. Must admit that I am a little more interested in the film after you told me it was directed by the same guy that did The Devil's Brigade. He also directed McClintock!, Hellfighters,, The Undefeated, and a couple...

Re: Call Of Duty all-time favorite
COD 2 for me.The missions were good fun in singleplayer ... Do you still have COD2? There a Spanish mod called "1936 España en Llamas" (Spain in Flames) based on the Spanish Civil War. It is a remake of the mod originally released for Medal of Honor: Breakthrough and it is now in the process of bei...

Re: Telling team mates to go prone
Thanks for your help, will give this a try. No worries. thup01 I could've sworn it was much easier to control your team mates last time I played. I'm really hoping someone else will chime in - in case I've missed something. I went through the command menu trying various combinations and those are w...

Re: Telling team mates to go prone
Hi, Just installed HD2 again, not played for about 2 years. I'm struggling to remember how to issue certain commends to team members. First off, aloha to the forum. The Command menu is accessed through Numbers Pad. The keys commanding the team or individual soldiers are in "Options/Control Setup/Ke...

Thanks George for the link on the Greco-Italian War. Interesting read as I was not aware of this war.
