Found another Pac shooter ... WWII Combat Iwo Jima (2006) from Atari.
Never saw more than a 2-star rating for it, most are 1 or 1.5-stars yet its still selling for $40+ on some sites. http://www.gamespot.com/pc/action/wwiicombatiwojima/

Sounds good and I promise no yelling. How 'bout some loud grumbling?
Prefer Nazis to Japanese eh? You're definitely not from Darwin.

Re: WW2 in the Pacific shooters
Thanks for the feedback. thup01 Well, THC: Battle for the Pac definitely falls in the "cheap" range. An Amazon.com seller in Canada wants $0.99 USD for THC:BFTP but it'll be another $3.99 for shipping. Actually, I can get them both from Amazon.com for $27.98 USD ($2.99 for THC:BFTP & $24.99 f...

Re: My H&D Obsession part 1
Haha, I am in Australia Jason, you still in Oz? I went to college in QLD. I originally picked up "H&D and Fight for Freedom" at Harvey Norman. Came in that Purple Take 2 box along with Dogs of War. Anyway, nice collection ... err ... obsession you have. The only thing I've added is the H&D2 ...

WW2 in the Pacific shooters
Know of any Pacific-themed WW2 single-player shooters? Or WW2 shooters with Pacific-themed missions (like Operation Stranger in H&D2)? I can think of these. Elite Forces: WWII Iwo Jima, 2001 Deadly Dozen: Pacific Theater, 2002 Hidden & Dangerous 2, 2003 Medal of Honor: Pacific Assault, 2004 The H...

Did anyone get beyond the zombies?
I'm interested in the Pacific (versus Japanese) campaign.

Re: Battle for the Pacific
Just how "bad" was Battle for the Pacific?
I know the reviews were not kind to it but I have a weakness for WW2 Pacific-themed games. I can get it pretty cheap at Amazon and can even get free shipping considering there are a couple books I'm interested in.

Re: Lost some of my Films
I noticed that if you make a save during a single mission that is not from SS it removes the SS films. Now that sounds scary; but I had to check it out. I am running ver. 1.12.0 and I chose a random mission (Guests). I saved a couple times in Single Mission and Single Mission - Carnage in Norm...

Surrender / Cowards List
Is there a surrender / cowards list for SS? I know a thread has been posted on "how" you can make soldiers surrender but I'm interested in a list of soldiers who are more prone to surrender. This is a list which covers H&D2 original named "I Surrender" still up at the old "Unofficial H&D2 web...

Re: Lost some of my Films
Just wanted to say thanks again for the info. I finished my new profile and I have 15 movies (8 from H&D2 and 7 from SS) in the films selection in the main menu. I saw an older topic and it said 15 movies is what I should have. I now wonder if adding SS possibly did something to my old profiles...

Re: Lost some of my Films
First off. Thank you both for your quick reply. thup01 To clear the confusion. Yes, it was "missing" films when I clicked "Films" on the main menu. Sorry, if my explanation was "as clear as mud." No major dramas but they were something I had unlocked and was wondering why they weren't there...

Lost some of my Films
Is there a specific file or folder where the films are kept? Does anyone know how to combine profiles to recover the films? I just reloaded H&D2 w/ SS and found a couple old profiles. I noticed many of the first intros are missing. I apparently did not copy everything when I saved my profile ...
