Re: Admin count
Nah, this is a different thing from just admin speak. It's some kill counting thing that some co-op servers have. Comes up with messages along the lines of '[1FJD] Drozdov has 0 kills' or something. Seems totally pointless to me, since the score records that anyway.

Re: 3rd mission weird thing - need help
I've always thought characters with higher stealth are less likely to make any noise when sneaking. Sometimes your character does make a step noise when in sneak mode, always thought the chance of that was affected by sneak skill. That would affect multiplayer but it's not really an issue usually - ...

Re: Forum Topic Merging
I don't think we need separate H&D 2 and H&D 2: Sabre Squadron boards. At least, we don't need both boards having the same sections. I think they should be merged together under a general H&D 2 title - perhaps with a sub-section dedicated specifically to the discussion of Sabre Squadron missions.

Re: Getting disconnected from the server
It's what's called the 'respawn bug', because in occupation mode often the first time you notice it is when you don't respawn after you get shot. I'm still not sure what causes it, sometimes I used to go through days where I'd get it every round, sometimes I go days without getting it at all. I've b...

Re: Hitman: Blood Money
Agreed, but with no saves that second Colombian mission was a real pain in the arse. Still think the Hong Kong campaign is the best part of all the Hitman games, although I might change my mind by the end of Blood Money. Here's some screenshots for you, possible spoilers but nothing too important: W...

Re: Hitman: Blood Money
I don't think it's more action-based, I'd say the opposite in fact. Hitman: Codename 47 was a great game, but just too short, and the Columbian and Dutch campaigns pretty much required you to go Rambo. So far in Blood Money, as I've said, I've only used my gun once, in about 8 missions. Maybe it get...

Re: Hitman: Blood Money
I'm sure many kids would love it, but it's not a game for sensitive people to play. It does come with an 18 rating here in the UK. The AI predictability is a good thing because it means you can easily set up little ambushes for people rather than just having to shoot them. Of course, it makes your j...

Hitman: Blood Money
Just got this yesterday after playing the demo. I think this is a game a lot of you would appreciate, even if you're not a fan of the Hitman series. I liked the original Hitman, but not Hitman 2 so I didn't get Hitman: Contracts. Blood Money is more of a return to the original spirit of Hitman: kill...

Re: Sabre Squadron ROE issues.
Don't remember that one, but I do remember another bug that caused all your team members to stand up whenever you asked them to 'Halt'. There is a patch which might fix your issue, can't remember if it says it should. Either way it's best to download it: http://hidden-and-dangerous.net/files/hd2_pat...

Re: Need another mpmaplist.txt file
Not of my mpmaplist file, since I can't host internet servers I only ever need it for trying out new maps, and therefore don't use it very often. I did make a back-up of my Texty files but it seems the back-ups I had were of partisan files for some reason. Problem solved now thanks to Oldih's genero...

Re: Nade Spammers and Snipers.
I don't really play on any server much these days, but I'm part of 1FJD, although I'm not in control of our server. I find removing the crosshairs has two effects - it makes the lag dances last longer (on average), and encourages the use of machine guns. Other than that, I've not noticed people play...

Re: Nade Spammers and Snipers.
I know, it's annoying, I've said often enough to our server host that he should get rid of grenades but he never listens - bastard likes to use them himself. no_02 Though I have to say I've never had any problems with oversniping in H&D. Sniping's not really that effective for most players, only on...

Re: Mutiplayer Questions
Ah woops, forgot this was the H&D Deluxe board. Oldih answered the question anyway - just hold use until you see the icon change (I think the drop icon is an arrow pointing down).

Re: Mutiplayer Questions
If you want to drop any item, go into the inventory screen, click-drag the icon and move it away from the inventory slots menu and let go. It'll then fall down at your feet. I think there's also a key for dropping your weapon, can't remember the default binding though, but you'll see it in the contr...
