Has anyone succeeded on extracting the maps?

I was just wondering if anyone has been able to extract the maps from H&D2. If so, are you able to open them in 3d Studio?

I'm still hoping that we'd be able to put H&D2 maps into deluxe.

The petition has been there for a quite long time. I have lost my faith that we will ever get an editor.

But deluxe has an editor. Make some new maps with that. You can't get the newest special effects but the level of detail is only up to you and the power of your computer.

I think you run in to more trouble if you don't install the servicepack. Personally I have had no problems with XPSP2. You might need to update some drivers but thats it. On the sidenote I would remind you all, that if you connect to internet with a Windows XP computer that has not the servicepacks ...

sounds like a firewall problem. If you have Windows XP SP2 or some firewall software installed, remember to put the other computer IP addresses into trusted zone.

Just one question. Why does it have to be in certain Drive/Folder? Ok, another question. You have to uninstall HDD in order to play this mod? Maybe they share a registry key?
