Wow, this is a great new, hdmaster! Thank you! :D Now I'm looking for mission folder, to realize new occupation maps  :P Please keep me up with news...

PS: I've been very busy too. I hope I can restart working on map.4ds, editor and documentation soon.

I think you are a bit off topic. Here we were discussing about .4ds and max, not the .dta from Sabre :)
I suggest to start a new topic for it.

By the way, could you get some scene2.bin or actors.bin file from sabre?

Seems to work. I changed 2nd byte of 1st axis area (axis1) from 19 to 7 (zone4, northmost zone). Will this be an open source project? Ar.. that's a difficoult question. I fear that an open source project will lead to many different incomplete and incompatible versions of the editor. I noticed (as you said) some misplaced meshes. Scene2.bin

Scene2.bin should contains several objects. By experiments, they should be SOLID mesh (polygons, textures and COLLISIONS). Did someone succed in inserting new solid object inside an existing scene2.bin? I can only add objects that become ghosts in-game: you can see them but you can walk throgh them..
