Now, out of no where, I did nothing... it works, maybe there was something wrong with my internet on this computer during those last attempts? thanks for the input anyway.

I have ruled that out as the problem as well because my other computer does not have ss and it can connect to some of them. This is really annoying that there is just no explaination as to why there is even a probable cause to the problem. Looks like im not gonna be able to use patch 1.12...  help01...

Yes, Im running windows 2000 and It isnt a router issue because I can play online as long as I dont update to patch 1.12. I reinstalled to the same problem. No one else has had issues relating to win2000?
