i had to delete that file about 3 or 4 times last night, i.e. each time i went into the multiplayer bit, but i've gone in and out a few times now and it seems to be ok now.(won't mention that i reinstalled twice before that........)

I've got a similar problem, but it was when i tried to get into a password protected game with the old password, it rejected it twice and now when i click on the "multiplayer game - internet" button, it crashs back to the desktop. I've reinstalled both H&D2 & H&D2 SS twice including all the patches ...
