Uninstalling SP2 did work.
I do not use the "safe" command - don't know what that is or what a register fix is??
I did try uninstalling the game and reinstalling it but it did not work.

Have deluxe disc. Game ran great until service pac 2 was downloaded. Now game will get hung up trying to load a game - usually hangs up while loading a saved game or after selection men and weapons for the mission and selecting the forward button. Will load up to about 65% then hangs up - frezzes. W...
