Re: Italian Weapons Mod/Accuracy Mod

It was not; that is the paratrooper version. Issued to paratroopers, of course, and the Colonial Militia. The standard army version had a different handle. It would be great, but it will be a lot of work. Can you model it, skin it, and code it? What differentiated the standard version from the para...

Re: Italian Weapons Mod/Accuracy Mod

http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=255498896 Italian M1939 combat knife. I believe this was standard issue in the Italian Army during World War II. We could have this for the standard Italian combat knife in the game during the Spaghetti Airport level, instead of the Fairbairn-Sykes...

Re: Italian Weapons Mod/Accuracy Mod

Well, you said "on top on the jeep in the passenger compartment," sounded like you were talking about something else. That position in game is not what I would consider the passenger compartment. Sure some were equipped with an M2, but not just that. There would have been stacks of fuel, ammunition...

Re: Italian Weapons Mod/Accuracy Mod

Well, first you will need to extract the .dta files. You will need a .dta extractor. I am assuming you do not have SS? You will need this unpacker. Running it could be difficult for you if you are not familiar with how command prompts work. When you have extracted them, the non-SS files are: ii_it0...

Re: Italian Weapons Mod/Accuracy Mod

I don't dispute the unmodified game displays the date of March 1941, my point is that if it was one or two things, that would be anachronistic, there are just too many things that destroy the feasibility of an early 1941 date, that it is now the date that is the problem. It can't be seriously consi...

Re: Italian Weapons Mod/Accuracy Mod

You are not completely off, and it is refreshing to see someone bothered by things like this, but you only address a few of the MANY anachronisms and you are wrong about a few issues... Those are not P38s, they are P08s. The Italians not using submachine guns is incorrect. They were issued submachi...

Italian Weapons Mod/Accuracy Mod

I was thinking about having an Italian weapons mod for Hidden & Dangerous 2 because the Italians use German weapons in the game when they should be using Italian ones. Most militaries of the period used their own weapons because they were cheaper to issue and produce from their own countries and a m...

Re: What should the next patch contain?

The italian rifle was useless in Africa because if any sad got in it, it would blow up in your face  All rifles do that. They all blow up in your face if you get sand in them. We're talking about bolt-actions rifles with complex machinery, not an AK-47 here. That's about normal for all rifle...
