Try to delete the network savegames at host and client and then try again. We did that. That is what made it all worse. :( Like i said: try the Hidden & Dangerous Action pack released on GoG instead. It should work with H&D Deluxe Ultimate Mod without issues. Or just use the freeware setup installe...
