Re: No games available

Jacobston, none of the options in your recommendation would work. Option 1 - I tried 6 IP/Port numbers on both the full list and the favorites and no games came up. Is it possible that no one was actually playing on the ones I tried? Option 2 - what came up on the "nomandown.com" was a home security...

No games available

It seems like a year or more now that no games are available. Is it just me or are people out there still playing H&D2? The only things that are showing up are those with "999999' or something similar.

server, hosting a game

A number of years ago I was regularily hosting games on my computer but since I bought a newer (Windows 7) computer I have been unable to do so. I recently borrowed a computer (Windows XP) and have installed the H&D2 game but as yet have not been able to host (my game does not show up on listing). A...

Re: Win 7 (64 bit)

I have been playing H&D2 on my new win 7 machine and until a couple of days ago it worked fine (with a few minor exceptions....it may kick me back to windows a few times while initally loading...which is not a big deal). A couple of days ago I somehow lost the ability to load the list of games in th...

Multiplayer Access To Games

For some reason, since yesterday I cannot seem to see any games when I go into the multiplayer internet screen. I have checked the firewall settings and HD2 and HD2DS applications are still allowed through the firewall. When I hit "UPDATE LIST" nothing appears. I don't know what may have happened ye...

Connection Problems

I have recently got a newer computer (Windows 7) and whenever I try to enter the game on my server (created with serverlauncher) I get a message indicating "connection problems". It may be something to do with the port (had a similar problem with my previous computer but eventually got past it). I h...

Re: Multiplayer Access to Internet Games Being Played

Thanks Lars, I think I remember seeing those port numbers when I first installed the program so I think they are ok (is there anywhere I can check that without removing and reinstalling the program?) Actually, I wonder if I should do that anyway just to see if it will work?

Multiplayer Access to Internet Games Being Played

It seems that whenever my provider make a major change to its security manager something happens that does not allow me to play the online games. This started (this time) around the 1st of August when Bell changed or rather I should say upgraded the Sympatico Security Manager to the new Bell Securit...
