Re: Playing an early campaign deletes later campaign progress?

Well, it's not so much the interest in movies as it is completing the profile to 100%.  :P

So I guess after I beat the Sicily and Burgundy campaigns again, I probably won't be touching the campaign button anymore.

Playing an early campaign deletes later campaign progress?

Is that the case? Because I noticed when I was going to go restore my films again that all of my progress after Sicily 1 (which I had replayed in Campaign) was deleted. In retrospect, this seems logical since characters get stats as the game goes on, so I guess for continuity they decided that it sh...

Re: Films menu?

Anybody want to give me a confirmation on this? I checked the saved SS profile on this website and it seems that I have all the films (since they're all located conveniently at the beginning of the levels or at the end of the Burgundy campaign) but it would be nice to know for sure... EDIT Gah, it l...

In the Ideal World: Ideas for a Final Patch

Yeah I know, it'll obviously never happen, but finally playing through all the single player H&D2 and SS levels as well as playing multiplayer a while made me think of what I felt were some missing touches, some final additions to the game that would make it perfect. So I thought I'd post them here ...

Re: newbie here

I think default is to press the "I" key to manage your inventory. Keyboard setup by default is very complicated in this game; hopefully you've installed patch 1.12 and set about customizing it (the second option, which I think was added in the patch, is a much better default in my opinion).

Films menu?

Hi, I have a simple question. I experienced a problem where, although everything is patched, when I used the normal H&D2 icon instead of SS, it deleted my current SS campaign progress. I was just starting the last level though, and I found that my actual progress wasn't deleted, just the current sav...

Re: Patch 1.13 ?

Well, it's possible out of nostalgia if they haven't become total slaves to their publisher (like Dice has become over at EA), or for the sake of promotion since a few more people have heard of this game now, or to see the response as a sort of feeler to test if the market would be interested in ano...

Re: Patch 1.13 ?

So judging by how old all these speculations are, I assume this patch 1.13 will never see the light of day? Pity. The more I've been playing the game, the more I like it, but there are some adjustments or additions that would definitely increase playability exponentially, or just add more novelty fa...

Re: Hidden & Dangerous 2 in Top 20 for April PC Game Sales

Most likely it was the GameStop sale, as pointed out. Over here, all the stores were selling them for 99 cents. I bought eight copies to hand out to friends, not to mention the one for myself. Although to be honest, it wasn't exactly an impulse buy. I had purchased the game at another store for $7 t...

Re: Sabre Squadron for sale anywhere these days

From what I've seen so far, none of the Occupation servers run Sabre Squadron unfortunately, so my MAS 36 (as well as the Gewehr 43 and silenced Luger) isn't usable.

Re: Sabre Squadron for sale anywhere these days

I've been playing through the game rather slowly (it usually takes me a while to complete a game). I've just finished the Austrian Alps level in the original H&D2 (haven't played the SS campaign yet), and I must say I'm rather impressed by this game. It has so many good ideas that I'm surprised hasn...

Re: Sabre Squadron for sale anywhere these days

Thanks, but what is this patch for? http://www.hidden-and-dangerous.net/hd2 ... hp#patches

It seems to have a different file size than the 1.12 listed here: http://www.hidden-and-dangerous.net/ss/ ... hp#patches

I don't need them both?

Re: Sabre Squadron for sale anywhere these days

Good luck with finding it. I just bought Hidden & Dangerous 2 (haven't opened it to play it yet) and went on a rush to find the expansion (in truth, I want to see the MAS 36; vive la France!), only to find it virtually impossible to find. With some help from the local Gamestop, I tracked one new cop...
