Where are the Add-on missions?

Does anyone remember where to find Normandy, Yugoslavia, that Russian nuke mission, etc.?

Check here first: http://oldsite.hidden-and-dangerous.net ... ssions.php

Try also H&D Brasil website. They have all kinds of H&D mods including custom maps (addons).

THANK YOU SO MUCH FRIEND!!

Hmm, a pity that it's an OLD website.
Yeah, I did see that other website. I was afraid to try it.

BTW, I tested out the Test-Add-On, and it's 100% compatible with the Overhaul mod, and my brother is eager for a dose of nostalgia. LOL

Okay, so there is a bit of a fly in the ointment.

The soldiers fall down into the abyss in the Normandy mission, but not in the test-addon.

I think it's because the Overhaul Mod changed the Test, but not the other addons when they get installed.

Is there a way for you to fix this? Can this ancient add-ons be upgraded to be compatible with the Overhaul Mod? 😀

Old addons such Normandy are compatible with vanilla game and not with my mod! Those that are fully compatible are uploaded on my ModDB profile:

https://www.moddb.com/members/pjakub88/addons

I am not planning to convert addons made by others to be compatible with H&D Deluxe Ultimate Mod thought. Maybe in future i will update some of my older standalone addons / campaigns uploaded once on H&D forums to be playable with the mod. By the way Myron i thought that you don't like HDD addons. Honestly, except Zikshadow i didn't think that anybody else plays H&D Deluxe addons these days...

Jakub is right, addons for vanilla wont work with mods.

By the way, should we maybe upload old addons to moddb? Just in case if HD Brasil goes down some day.

Hmm, maybe. I don't know what authors of those addons would think about that idea though. I guess they are not active anymore, so it won't bother them...

Yeah, I figured they wouldn't work, but I tested the add-on that comes with the game, the Test Add-On, and it worked, and so I thought maybe they might work, so I needed to test.

Not necessarily true. There are some mods I kinda liked.

But besides, this endeavor to get my hands on the old add-ons is a favor to my little brother; he greatly desires to replay Normandy and the others. A need for some nostalgia, I suppose.

I think part of the appeal is the fact that Normandy is a campaign rather than just 1 mission.

remember that you can save games in multiplayer with Vanilla extended and the newest builds. (You can take the newest exe from Ultimate mod)
