I must say that Mafia 2 is looking good... okay it looks bloody brilliant! Good on yah 2kczech. Just image how great H&D3* is going to look running under this new engine grin01

Mafia 2 is taking a long time in the make and we dont know if they will start a H&D3 after they finish that project, chances are they might start something else (really hope not).

If Mafia had a less static environment and good MP people would be playing it today, imagine how much fun it would be  .

Well if you want that there is GTA, I think Mafia is suppose to be simply story based. The original was brilliant, great story, good graphics and good gameplay. That's coming from someone who didn't want to play it, I just thought why not one day and became hooked until I beat it.

Not sure how long the development has taken for Mafia 2 as it wasn't announced until a while ago. Wouldn't surprise me if they have been playing around with the idea since the original. Mafia 2 looks realistic, IS/2kc do a great job when it comes to creating their own style of game, visually not just gameplay wise.

Hrmmm, Mafia would only work in MP if it was forced clans / teams and you had to "steal/protect" supplies from each other. Simple deathmatch would not do the game justice. You'd have to get some story into the MP, now that would be a challenge... and something new

I wouldn't mind H&D3 being released until 2010 as long as it had an editor

Illusion Softworks, now 2k Czech have at least 200 people working for them. I am not certain if this includes the other companies they use for development. I imagine it would as 200 people in one office would be a squeeze. They are currently working on 3 games, once Mafia 2 is done they will have some resources for H&D3 funny02 nods01

MP is just a matter of imagination.
Imagine cops vs mob, mob must make booze deliveries all over the town, cops must stop them, would that be fun or what?

H&D3... tbh i'd be happy with more H&D2 campaigns/missions. Good ones that is..

What about Gang Wars, they would be good, several gangs/clans fight for territory/turf. The Mafia map is quite large.

HnD2/3
If they would only give us an editor to create our own missions.
I really don't think theres gonna be a HnD3, HnD2 was did not do so well. Mostly kids (12/16) play games, HnD2 is not a very good "shoot em up", more strategy & stealth while kids that age demand ACTION! Thats the main reason i don't play MP anymore, too many "gungho kiddies" running'n'gunning their way through the maps & spoiling it for the mature players.

I stopped playing MP because of all the people abusing map exploits, being hidden in walls and on roofs and so on.

Mafia 2 has to be excellent to match Mafia.

I use to be against Steam as well, until I released how cheap the games were. Some games I don't care to have the boxes but H&D would definitely be one that I would always buy the box for. You can always buy the boxed game later as well. What's the big issue guys? :P

The demo is absolutely fun to play, the gameplay is awesome, makes you feel like a real mobster  There is plenty to bitch about the game though including some really, really old textures in some areas. The inability to swim in the fucking water, the non-moving skies! but there is plenty to be happy about. The vehicles handle great, the cover system is great, the weapons are great. The game includes PlayBoy porn pictures...

Why so negative all the time?

What year does the demo take place in? The game is set from 45 to 57? Isn't it to early for "Come On, Let's Go"? About a year early... and that is if the demo takes place in 1957.
