I also added iron sights view to the custom M1928A1 Thompson model imported from MOHPA.

See picture below.

Please download and unpack the content of the MOHPA Thompson RAR archive into your root H&D Deluxe install directory in order to be able to use the new M1928A1 Thompson in game. Replace files when asked to.

P.S. Don't forget also to download MOH weapons sound RAR archive (improved shooting sounds) from the previous page of this thread!

In addition i replaced the previous Lanchester SMG shooting sound with better quality one taken from Forgotten Weapons Youtube channel where Ian McCollum fires MP-35 submachine gun.

The Lanchester was actually a copy of MP-28 (which is a derivative of MP-18 from WW1) and the MP-35 is a further development of that gun.

Unpack the content of the New Lanchester SMG sound RAR archive into your root H&D Deluxe install directory. Replace files when asked.

Enjoy!

The UK used Tommy-Guns BEFORE the Sten gun?! 😲
Is that why in Training Camp of H&D2, the SMG is the Thompson instead of the Sten? 🤔

The change will displease my father, as he wants MORE bullets in his magazines. 😈

Yeah, I was also suprised when I found out that. British troops used Thompsons as early as 1940 in African desert. This submachine gun was associated with organized crime in public opinion and generally UK government was against using them at first, but when WW2 broke out they suddenly changed their minds realizing that Germans have SMG (MP40) and they are quite effective for its role. The situation got worse for British after the Dunkirk evacuation and equipment shortages lead to Sten development and production in late 1941 (aka Plumber Nightmare). ;)

Pfff, if the mafia and police and other criminal organizations are using the Tommy Gun, then, logically, the Tommy must be a VERY GOOD gun; the military should have wanted it more instead of less. 😏

Hmm, So like the MP-40, the Sten was praised for being CHEAP to mass-produce. 🤔

Also, to have more emoji choices, press and hold the Windows Key and then press the Period key.

The word "cheap" is a key here. For the military Thompson SMG was too expensive even with all later simplifications. Still you could have more than a few Stens produced in price of a single Tommy Gun in much shorter manufacturing time. Besides its high cost it was heavy and bulky. Being able to produce an SMG domestically instead of importing was also a factor with all those pesky U-Boats in Atlantic Ocean.

I imported the Winchester M1912 "Trench gun" shotgun model from Medal of Honor Allied Assault and made it usable in H&D Deluxe.

Thanks to recent NilsZ coding work, we now have proper shotgun shooting behavior with shots dispersion. thup01

See pictures below.

For the request of user BoloG86 from ModDB i imported the Sten Mk. V submachine-gun model from Medal of Honor Spearhead and made it usable in H&D Deluxe.

It originally lacked rear sight, so i added one from my imported H&D 2 Sten model and re-textured it.
