Re: Hidden and Dangerous MINIGAME
There has been informational progress but not much in the way of game development progress yet. There is a solid foundation though. I have pretty much all the information I need to recreate the game now. Before I start development on the game I will be finishing off the new website so in 2-3 weeks time it should be clear to start development. Just need to clear my plate of all the other backed up hobby projects I have on the go while I juggle business activities. I'm sure we'll have a BETA out before Christmas this year

Re: Hidden and Dangerous MINIGAME
3d models or 2d sprites, that is the question... hrmm!
Re: Hidden and Dangerous MINIGAME
3D could be interesting but don't know how much it would change the gameplay (like hiding in the trees).
2D worked well before! Simplicity can be effective.
Glad to hear you're still on this!

Not much, I haven't had time to scratch myself recently
Hopefully I can get back on it mid-September

Re: Hidden and Dangerous MINIGAME
Welcome back! I'm sure 2013 will be more eventful, 2012 was a bit busy work wise.
Re: Hidden and Dangerous MINIGAME
What are you writing the minigame in? I have a boatload of C# code that I wrote for a top-down shooter - fully working with multiplayer a "Deathmatch" type mode. I am guessing people might want to play the minigame in the browser though :)

Re: Hidden and Dangerous MINIGAME
I'm doing it in C# as I learn it it was going to be Flash but I gave up on using Flash professionally and didn't want to waste any more time on that dead technology. C# and XNA seemed to be the way to go. Wouldn't mind taking a look at your code if you are willing to share
