Re: What was your favourite campaign and why?
Honestly I don't care now much about SS. It somehow broke my expectations early on during first playthrough. On second run it made me dump it and start playing better expansions of other titles. First Alpha Pack of Vietcong is way more fun and suspenseful than SS smile01 I mean that if you patch yo...

Re: What was your favourite campaign and why?
I understand your point but in SS its not possible to make them surrender smile01 It depends a lot on your single player difficulty and also on gameversion (illusion softworks changed the code for the uniforms and morale in later patches - after the patch it is like in hd2ss). In coop they surrende...

Re: What was your favourite campaign and why?
@shrekdj What are surrender monkeys? Do you mean the Germans that were surrendering in H&D 2? Enemy AI has a value of morale. And this morale can be depleted by your actions, for example: 1)- killing other enemies around him in short time or in drastical (explosive) way, it happened to me few times...

Re: 4ds files hacked
To -ViTaMiHnM203- So you mean that Zdenda made his coop Poland map from the early "London" version (not from the corrected "Poland" version)? It could be true because the coop Poland map (asside from that lighting problem) had a lot of nonfunctional ladders. On the contrary, the Poland DM map has fu...

Re: 4ds files hacked
I remember seeing this error on several surfaces (mostly outside rubble) at coop map Poland (Enemy HQ) by Zdenda.hdmaster wrote: Screenshot of Africa1_mp exported from 3ds Max. I don't know why that turquoise color appears..
When I tryed to see the default DM Poland map, the error was not there.

Re: New way Editor!
I think that HD2 must be able to read BIK files internally, the cutscenes are in BIK files. Also I think it is possible to make animated surface in a map. Look at rivers or sea surfaces. The question is if they use the BIK files from "gamemovie" folder or BMP textures (saved as frames) from "maps" f...

Re: 4ds files hacked
Just addition to the "error-file-list".
In general, I had problems with importing first person weapon models (those weapon models that have "fpv" at the end of their filename).

Re: 4ds files hacked
Thanks for the info hdmaster. I didn't know HD2 generates collision itself.
I hope I'll find some extra time to check your new version more deeply

Re: 4ds files hacked
The collision data for map is stored in a separate file, right?
But how about regular 4ds models like vehicles, weapons or mapstuff like tables, chairs, etc? They must have the collision saved in their 4ds file. Does the exporter support this?

Re: 4ds files hacked
There's also a little problem with the brightness of the objects, the left side is always darker than the right one. Hi! I am a newbiee here. But I may have some idea to the topic. I am a selflearn in modelling (Maya). The lightning problem could be caused by wrong vertex normals of the model. The ...
