Do you remember the time at Fugue's forum before this one? That was between 2000-2004 I think. The developers actually came to the forums to discuss with us.

GTA SAS, why not but it should not be linked into H&D in any way. H&D3 should be H&D Deluxe with a up-to-date engine/graphics and stuff. Why deluxe...because it had an editor :) Also I do not like the idea of Rockstar making the next H&D. They would do it for the consoles and maybe transport it to P...

Applications like Premier are video editing software. They can't be used to create H&D animations. All animations in H&D are 3d scenery files that have an animation in them. Also the mission maps are animated...like the train in m1 is animated directly to scene.i3d file.

Some of the things (like in mission1) are put directly to scene.i3d file. So if you have the plugins working, import the whole scene in to 3ds max. What I did was that I created a temporary model library of extracted models from different scene files. That way I was able to add parts to my own missi...

"Games for Windows" means that you need to have a Windows Live ID. When you play GTA4, you need to login to your Live ID in order to save your progress. Everything is saved on a MS server. Long time has passed again and no updates. Reason being that I haven't had any time to do more. Near future doesn't look very promising either. Hopefully I can do more at some point, but if you can't wait and want to continue this by yourself, feel free to ask the current data from Jason.

I don't see what's there to guess. You can make your map the right size if you scale it according to the model like Opel Blitz. For displace start with less strength and make lots of renders to adjust elevation.

Before you create that plane object, import a i3d object such as Opel_Blitz. Then using that as a reference, create the plane. Scaling solved.
